The main library at the University of Iowa was completely remodeled by City Construction. Half of the first floor included a full demolition and rebuild and features common spaces and group meeting rooms. A main entrance with ramp was added on the east side of the building. Exterior work included a retaining wall and flower bed. The library remained open during construction. Classes were held in the auditorium adjacent to the work zone which required a more quiet jobsite. View Master Builders of Iowa award video
The University questioned your ability to perform and you finished one of the hardest projects of my career on time. Your performance made our life and service easier. I thank you for that. Congratulations on a job well done!
