City has been selected to do multiple projects at Central. Most recently, new flooring was installed in the gym and multipurpose room. New windows and cast stone were also added to the building’s exterior. Previous work included new finishes of flooring, paint and ceilings and new mechanical and electrical systems. Ten temporary classrooms were installed to accommodate students while their rooms were renovated. Work in shared spaces including the lobby, media center, gym and multi-purpose room was completed in the summer.
